Protein chocolate pudding to die for!
Right now this is definitely my favorite protein rich dessert I look forward to eat twice a week! I keep them frozen so you can keep them for a month or so in the freezer.
Very easy to make: mix your favorite protein powder, nut butter, nut yogurt and cocoa powder and there it is!!! I put some frozen raspberries on top and wow it is so amazing!!!!!
Here I mixed hydrolyzed whey (no carb, no fat), home made almond milk yogurt, home made almond butter and low fat cocoa powder. My whey is already sweetened with stevia so no need to add extra sweetner.
Stats using these ingredients: 247kcal, 30g protein, 10g carbs, 10g fat. If you use plant based protein, it will probably have less protein, higher fat and carbs.
The original recipe used almond milk but but yogurt with agar agar and kuzu/arrowroot powder sets much better and it gives more like a pudding texture. The first one came out like chocolate soup!!!
I will write separate posts about my nut milk yogurt and nut butter soon… Yogurt making is fun but time consuming. Nut butter is super easy to make, you just need a good food processor and patience!!!!
If you put the puddings in paper molds, you can make them very pretty on a plate! You can freeze them all at once! Keep the in the freezer up to one month! While it defrost naturally, you can make a very creative plate like….. this! With some berries, dark chocolate, cinnamon, crispy quinoa puffs!
